2) Take in fewer calories than you expend in exercise.

does hula hoop really lose weight? I play hula hoop sometimes just for fun but I don't really sweat after playing the hula hoop! Does the weight of the hula hoop matter? I have a very light one and a pretty heavy one...if I use the heavy one, my waist would hurt after around 5 minutes...if I use the light one, its like doing nothing at all...:p
Hello!~ i was just looking at that video and did you know its best to lot 1-3 pounds a week because if you lose more you will have a lot of extra skin that will make u look flabby and gross! Trust me, i am 15 and was obese, i lost 5 pounds a week and had a bunch of left over skin! It took many procedures to remove it and now i have scars on my tummy! Gross! Hope i helped :)
Hula hoop is a great idea for burning up the calories. Another option along the same lines is jump rope. 60-120 seconds will leave most people breathless.
All three are good activities, however, the best exercise for weight loss is an activity you will stick with long-term. That is the key to getting and staying fit
